Hi! My name is Zion Gurney, I am the Lead flight instructor here at Chickadee Aviation. I first found my passion for aviation as a young kid flying in my grandfather’s hot air balloon. I went to ATP flight school, where I achieved my Private, and Commercial pilots licenses, along with my Instrument rating. From there I did my CFI training and my CFII training here at Chickadee Aviation. If I am not flying, I enjoy being with my wife on the lake, fishing, golfing, and long rides on the Harley. If you’re looking to fulfill your life long dreams of becoming a pilot, adding an instrument rating to your license, or getting your tailwheel/high performance endorsement, I would be honored to help you achieve your goals! My name is Tyler Vallieres! I am pleased to be a Certified Flight Instructor at Chickadee Aviation in my home state of Maine. I grew up locally and spent a lot of time exploring our great state. I recently completed my Bachelors degree at the University of Maine at Augusta with a study in Commercial Aviation. I am actively pursuing my Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII), so I am being immersed in training such as flying, ground, and written knowledge just Iike many of our students. In my down time you will most likely find me snowboarding, fly fishing far away from civilization, or going on hikes with our dog. I have experience with part 61 and 141 programs and I believe that experience will correlate to me providing my students the best possible training for their needs. If you have a passion for flying, just want to get your private pilots license (PPL), or want a career in aviation I am dedicated to providing the best possible training routine for your lifestyle and goals.   Hi, I’m Braden Laramee, and I’m a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII), and Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI). I grew up in Maine but completed all my flight training at ATP Flight School in Tampa, Florida. From a young age, I knew I wanted to be a pilot after my first flight with my family. I have always dreamed of traveling the world, and being a pilot is the perfect way to make that dream come true! When I'm not flying, you can find me working out, hiking, kayaking, or playing pickup basketball. I can’t wait to share my passion for aviation with you and help you learn how to fly! 

Hi, I’m Steve Cutchin — CFI, CFII, and MEI.
I was born and raised in Harford County, Maryland, and earned my wings at ATP Flight School at Martin State in Baltimore County. I’ve been flying since 2016, but my love for aviation started long before that — ever since I was a kid dreaming of getting above the clouds.

I’m new to Maine but not to aviation. When I’m not flying, you’ll find my wife, our dog, and me out exploring the state’s amazing trails and stunning views. I’d love to help you take your own adventures to the skies and show you the beauty of Maine from above. Let’s fly!
